Use group policy to completely disable web search on Windows 10
Microsoft has integrated web search from Windows 8.1, in addition to native search available in previous Windows editions. So, if you search for something on your Windows computer when you are connected to the Internet, the search results will automatically appear. This also continues with Windows 10, and here Cortana – the language assistant carries the flag.
Now some users may agree that web results are displayed in addition, even if they are not looking forward to them. However, another user community may not be convinced. This may be because your system uses unnecessary data to obtain search results on the Web. Thus, if you also belong to this last community of users, you can completely disable the display of search results on the Web in Windows 10.
