Microsoft has integrated web search from Windows 8.1, in addition to native search available in previous Windows editions. 1 In Windows 8.1 or later; Pro & Enterprise Editions, press Windows Key + R combination, type gpedit.msc in the Run dialog box and press Enter to open Local Group Policy Editor.

2 In the left pane of the window , navigate to the local Group Policy Editor here :

Computer configuration -> Administrative templates -> Windows components -> Search

3. Continue, in the right part of the window shown above and scroll down to Named Settings Do not allow searching on the Web and No searching on the Web or displaying search results on the Web in Search. Both are default Not configured. Double-click one of them:

4 Finally, in the window above, select Enabled and click Apply followed by OK. Activate the other setting in the same way. Close Local Group Policy Editor now. Restart the computer to make the changes effective. After restarting the machine, the Web search results are no longer displayed. If you want to receive search results on the web later, simply reset both policies to the state Not configured .
