Reboot your computer with the single G-Sync monitor enabled. If you have multiple monitors, turn on the other monitors later. Turn G-sync on and off and monitor, check if it is in G-sync mode. Enable and disable the G-Sync option in the G-Sync configuration tab in the Nvidia Control Panel.

In the NVIDIA Control You panel, on the View menu on the left, you should see “Configure G-SYNC”. If you don’t see the Configure G-SYNC option and you’re sure it’s enabled on your monitor, you may need to manually install your monitor drivers.

Find the Fn, F-Lock or F-Key mode on your keyboard. Depending on your laptop, you may need to press once or hold for a few seconds. If it works, don’t press the Fn and Esc keys at the same time. Then try using one of the function keys.

To enable FN lock on the multifunction multimedia keyboard, press the FN key and the Caps Lock key at the same time. To disable FN lock, press the , fn, and Caps Lock keys simultaneously again.

If the function keys are not working, the problem may be that you have a function lock or an F-Lock key that needs to be toggled. • A blank USB stick with at least 8 GB of disk space
• Another working Windows PC that allows you to create a bootable Windows 10 device.

In case things go south, an upgrade in place, whose process was shown in this post to Windows 10 Upgrade, remained on the Select your keyboard layout screen. Follow the steps below:

1. Download the media creation tool to another PC. This provides you with a bootable floppy disk from which you can perform an installation.
2. Start from the USB device you just created by changing your BIOS settings.
3. As we are trying to restore the old installation, we stop where it requires the keyboard layout. Select the US keyboard here and then on the screen Select an option , select Troubleshoot > Prompt.
4. In the cmd.exe window, type C: and press Enter. Suppose C is the drive on which your Windows is installed.
5. Type the following command Ren Windows.old.old.Windows.old.bak, and press Enter.
6. Exit the command prompt and you will return to Select an option that we have already seen.
7. Select Use a different operating system > Windows 10 on volume X, where X is a number.
8. Give him a few minutes and he will load the desk.

Once this is finished, we are back on our usual desktop screen, and from there, we can start installing Window 10 manually. Since your access is limited if the desktop is not loaded, we use the Task Manager to start the Windows 10 Setup.exe file that is available in the USB.

Under Windows 10, we can run many applications from the command prompt with their aliases. The default alias for opening Notepad from the command prompt is notepad.exe. Simply enter it and press Enter to open the Notepad application.

The aliases of requests are generally similar in the name of the original request, but sometimes two different requests may have the same alias, which may lead to a conflict of interest. In such a situation, an attempt to open the intended application from the command prompt by entering its alias may open the others. For example, we have 2 applications called Spot Music, which could have the same name but were designed by two different brands and have a different size and structure. The default run name for both programs could be spotmusic.exe, since both are program files. When you try to open one of them, the other application opens.
