The default screen calibration files (icc.profiles) are set to a strange / warm color. Click Start and type “View” and open the display settings in the control panel. Click on “Show adapter properties”. Click on the third tab “Color Management” in the window that opens. In this window, click on Advanced at the top of the third tab. Click on the calibration screen at the bottom of the screen. Simply continue to click Next and Skip Brightness Settings on the 5th page to get only the default calibration settings. Click Finish at the end to generate the new color profile. The display must now be set to a cooler “color temperature” with a truer white. If the screen color does not change, you may need to return to the Devices tab in Color Management and manually add the newly created icc.profile setting and “select as default”.

Cancel the installation of new software
Check if you have recently installed any new software. This is especially true if you have recently started to see your surface screen turn yellow. In particular, reader or e-reader software has a special reading mode that turns off dangerous blue light while yellow has prevalence, giving the screen a yellowish tint.
If so, check the software settings to see if there is a way to disable the yellow light. Or, in the worst case, uninstall the software yourself if your desire to turn off the yellow light is greater than the need to have the software at all.
