WMP 11 Customizing burning settings
The process of changing burner settings in WMP 11 is very similar:
- Open WMP. If it is not yet in library display mode, switch to this screen by pressing Ctrl+1 on your keyboard.
- Select Tools > Options at the top of the screen.
- On the Options screen, select Burn.
- On the Burning Settings screen, in the General section, use the drop-down menu to select a burning speed. Select Slow.
- Click Apply, then OK to exit the settings screen.
Changing the Music folder
If the directory or folder of the file is damaged, Windows Media Player may not recognize the files in that folder. If you can see the length of the media file in the File Explorer but not in the Media Player, try moving the tracks to a new folder.
- Select and copy all the tracks you want to burn.
- Create a new folder outside the original directory and move the copied files to the new folder.
- Start Windows Media Player and drag and drop the tracks from the new folder onto the player.
- Windows Media Player must recognize the length of the track. Select the tracks and click Burn.
