Destiny 2 is a popular online first-person shooter released in 2014 and available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles. There is a player-versus-environment mode and a player-to-player mode. While it is a fairly robust game, there are instances where certain problems can arise, which we will look at today. Reboot your device

Before you continue, try rebooting your device once. It doesn’t matter if you’re playing on Playstation, Xbox, or PC. Forcibly restart your device. After that, restart the game and see if the Destiny 2 error code is fixed or not.

Check your internet connection

First of all, make sure your internet connection is stable and working properly. Often everything is fine, but a poor internet connection can always return an error.

You’ll probably encounter packet loss if you play a game with a faulty Wi-Fi or mobile device. Try switching to a LAN cable, restarting your system and restarting the game to see if the problem is resolved.

Remove all pending clan invitations

Often the error can be due to an incorrect clan invitation. Many people who have played the game have reported having problems with the weasel error code because of these clan invitations.

If a person receives a clan invitation, they are more likely to encounter an error by accepting the error. In the meantime, try removing all invitations from your clan until the Bungie team fixes the problem.

You can contact your clan administrator to have you removed from the clan and have the invitation removed. You can also search for clan invitations on the Bungie.net membership page. If you do this, join the clan and leave the clan immediately so that you do not receive future clan invitations.

Disconnect your account from the Destiny app on your smartphone.

The game also has a companion app that provides useful information about it. Some users report that disconnecting their accounts from their smartphones or uninstalling the app will help them solve this problem.

  • First, log in to Bungie.net with your credentials.
  • Go to the settings page and click Accounts and Links.
  • To delete your account, you will be prompted to disable it. Click it.
  • You can also remove the app from your device. To do this, go to the Settings page and go to Apps and Notifications.
  • Scroll down to the app, click on it, and select “Uninstall.” This will remove the app from your device and also resolve the issue.
