To disable the Update and Shutdown button, open the registry editor and navigate to the next key :

HKEY_CURRENT_USERoftwarePoliciesMicrosoftWindows

Create a new key under Windows and name it WindowsUpdate. Create another key under it and call it AU.

So the last way would be:

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwarePoliciesMicrosoftWindowsUpdateAU

Create a new DWORD value named NoAUAsDefaultShutdownOption under AU on the right side and give it the value 1. Also create NoAUShutdownOption and set it to 1.

You no longer have the Refresh and Close option. Windows installs updates only on reboot.
