In previous versions of Windows, you could see the list of wireless networks to which you were previously connected, change the order in which those preferred networks were connected when more than one was available, and add or remove the preferred networks from that list. You can do this via Control PanelNetwork and InternetManage Wireless Networks.
Until Windows 7, previously connected wireless networks were stored and displayed in the list of preferred wireless networks, but this feature seems to have been removed in Windows 8. Microsoft probably deleted it because they added a supposedly smart feature that handles wireless profiles as much as you connect to them. Although you can still see native Windows 10/8 wireless network profiles, it would be nice if we now had free software to do it quickly, wouldn’t it?
In this context, we thought about publishing the WiFi Profile Manager – free software that will help you continue to perform the same functions in the same way.

You can now prevent PC problems by using this tool, such as protecting you against file loss and malware. Additionally, it is a great way to optimize your computer for maximum performance. The program fixes common errors that might occur on Windows systems with ease - no need for hours of troubleshooting when you have the perfect solution at your fingertips:
- Step 1 : Download PC Repair & Optimizer Tool (Windows 10, 8, 7, XP, Vista – Microsoft Gold Certified).
- Step 2 : Click “Start Scan” to find Windows registry issues that could be causing PC problems.
- Step 3 : Click “Repair All” to fix all issues.
WiFi Profile Manager is a simple tool for displaying your favorite wireless network profiles under Windows 10/8. This tool attempts to replace the functionality of the Wi-Fi Preferred Network dialog box.
Over time, if you connect to many different wireless networks, this list can get quite long, and sometimes you may want to delete unnecessary wireless profiles, especially if those networks were public Wi-Fi at the local fast food outlet and you don’t want your laptop to reconnect automatically.
The WiFi Profile Manager allows you to:
- View preferred network profiles
- Change list order
- Export to XML
- Delete XML import
- Delete profiles
Note that you can still create network profiles from the Network and Sharing Center Control Panel.
WiFi Profile Manager was developed by me for The windowsbulletin.com. Donations go to me, not the windowsbulletin.com.
Download and run the tool as administrator. It was developed for Windows 8, but also works under Windows 7 or Windows 10
NOTE: It seems that this freeware works for some, but not for others. I tried and it worked for me – Admin.
Expert Tip: This repair tool scans the repositories and replaces corrupt or missing files if none of these methods have worked. It works well in most cases where the problem is due to system corruption. This tool will also optimize your system to maximize performance. It can be downloaded by Clicking Here
