This is a serious Windows error, usually called a stop message, bug check or, more commonly, blue screen of death (BSoD). The system is in a forced restart state. Any unsaved work is likely to be lost.
This error check indicates that the multiple UNC provider (MUP) encountered invalid or unexpected data. As a result, the MUP cannot transmit a remote file system request to a network transfer provider, the Universal Naming Convention (UNC) provider.
The MUP manages object-based contextual information per file for all objects in the file it manages.
This problem occurs because the Mup.sys driver assumes that no more than three file system filter drivers are allowed to run simultaneously. The Mup.sys driver processes I/O requests from DFS (Distributed File System) files. If there are four or more file system filter drivers, the IRP (I/O Request Packet) position buffer preassigned by Mup.sys overflows. In this case, you will receive the stop error described in the Symptoms section.

- Step 3 : Click “Repair All” to fix all issues.
Updating or resetting different drivers
You must either update or reset the driver. If you have just updated a driver and the problem occurred after that, you must reset the driver. If you have not, upgrading this device driver to the latest version may help you.
Open the Device Manager in the WinX menu. Select the driver and right-click to open the properties. Then go to the Drivers section. Rollback is only available if the last update has taken place. If this is not the case, click Update Driver and Windows will automatically check for problems.
This error is usually caused by drivers that refer to the network card, chipset, player and video drivers, and by any other driver that refers to the MUP.sys and SwapBuffers.sys system files.
Performing system restoration
This is the time when you bring your computer back earlier, usually when something is wrong with your PC. All you have to do is select a restore point from a list (which we will see later), then restart. You cross your fingers and hope the problem will go away! The system restore settings are located in the System Properties dialog box.
To view the system properties, click Start, then click Control Panel. Double-click on System in the Control Panel. Another way to access this field is to right-click on My Computer on your desktop. Select Properties from the menu. A shortcut is to hold down the Windows logo key at the bottom left of your keyboard. Hold it down and press the pause / pause button. Click on the System Recovery tab.
To enable system recovery, make sure the “Disable system recovery on all disks” check box is NOT checked.
Expert Tip: This repair tool scans the repositories and replaces corrupt or missing files if none of these methods have worked. It works well in most cases where the problem is due to system corruption. This tool will also optimize your system to maximize performance. It can be downloaded by Clicking Here
