Social media engagement is one of the most important forms of interaction between companies and their customers today – and Facebook and Twitter are important tools for this type of engagement.
Yet it’s time-consuming and often impractical to replay everything you share on Facebook on Twitter. Fortunately, you can automate this relatively easily – by setting up an automatic cross-posting feature.
How to link my Facebook profile or Page to my Twitter account?
You can link your profile or page to your Twitter account in order to publish your Facebook messages on Twitter. Once you’ve linked your profile or page, you can choose the types of messages (e.g., status, photo) you want to share on Twitter.

How to Stop Auto Cross-Posting to Twitter
There are two ways to stop cross mailings if you no longer wish to do so. You can do it either on Twitter or on Facebook. In the first case, connect to your Twitter and go to your settings. There, under “Apps”, you’ll find a list of all the applications that can access your Twitter – including Facebook. Simply revoke access there and the automatic display will stop. If you want to retrieve it, you can either configure it from scratch, or, if you haven’t yet left the apps page, you can click on the Revoke access to this page button. Be aware that once you close or exit the page, the “Cancel” button is no longer there and you will have to start the page all over again.
The other option is to revoke access via Facebook. Go back to http://www.facebook.com/twitter and you can disable the automatic posting function for job types. If you disable it for all job types, there will effectively be no more jobs. You can turn it back on at any time. If that’s not enough, you can also disassociate Facebook from Twitter by clicking the “Unlink from Twitter” button on http://www.facebook.com/twitter.
Conclusion
There’s nothing more to say! Every time you post on Facebook, the content you choose will automatically be published on Twitter.
If you would like to publish the same messages on both popular social networks, feel free to try it out and let us know what you think.
