When you try to start Adobe Premiere Pro, the error message “Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any valid editing modes. Please reinstall Premiere Pro and try starting again.” Although Adobe Premiere is a good editing tool, the Adobe error messages displayed prevented users from taking the next step. There are several errors, such as not loading any driver or a startup error.

Here’s How to Solve Adobe Premiere Error Message

Double Check Dedicated Graphics

Adobe Premiere Pro is a hardware-intensive application, and to use it, you need a powerful graphics card. Many laptops and some PCs are equipped with dedicated and integrated graphics.

According to users, Adobe Premiere Pro could not find a message about a valid editing mode because Adobe Premiere Pro was configured to use integrated graphics. Integrated graphics generally do not have enough hardware performance to run Adobe Premiere Pro smoothly, which can lead to this error.

To solve the problem, you must define your special graphics as the default processor. To do this, you must open the control panel of your graphics card, such as the Nvidia control panel or the Catalyst Control Center, and set your dedicated GPU as the default graphics processor for Adobe Premiere Pro.

To change this setting for AMD graphics cards, do the following:

  • Open the catalyst control center.
  • Navigate to Power > Switchable Graphics Method > Select the GPU manually and apply the changes.
  • Return to the Power section and click Switchable Graphics.
  • Make sure that the high-performance graphics card is selected and save the changes.

Note that the above steps only work for AMD graphics, but if you use Nvidia graphics, the process should be more or less the same. After making these changes, check to see if the problem persists.
