Download and reinstall Realtek HD Audio Manager

Before downloading new drivers, uninstall all current drivers. To avoid duplication conflicts between multiple drivers, you must also uninstall duplicate audio drivers.

Expand Sound, Video and Game Controllers from the list in Device Manager.

Locate the audio driver under Realtek High Definition Audio.

Search for duplicate audio drivers, if available.

To download the audio driver manually, go to Realtek’s official website here – realtek.com/downloads. Click High Definition Audio Codecs (Software).

Read the Terms and Conditions and check the I accept the above option.

Click Next.

On the download page, the available drivers are shown in blue.

For operating systems with 32-bit specification, locate the 32-bit, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 Driver only (executable file) description and click Global to start the download process.

Assuming you have the latest driver installation file on your computer, select Browse my computer to find the driver software

Find and select the last driver by date, then click Next to update it.

4] Add old hardware

Go to Device Manager.

Search and click on Sound, video and game controllers.

Click the Action tab.

Find and click Legacy Hardware from the drop-down menu.

Click Next and select the Auto Locate and Install Hardware (recommended)
