Microsoft Windows 10 provides Maps application that helps users find places and get directions. The Maps application is a universal Windows application from Microsoft. Windows Phone supports offline maps in cooperation with HERE Maps. The same mapping applications with various improvements have been improved and ported to Windows 10, and Microsoft has managed to provide the universal Windows 10 Maps application that even runs on PC.

Download offline maps under Windows 10
To start with offline maps, click the Settings option in the Start menu, as shown below:
Select System, the first option in the settings area.
Under System Settings, select Offline maps. On the right side of the window, you can see many options related to the map. In the Maps section, click Download Maps.
This shows different continents around the world. In this example, we choose Asia. You can select the continent of your choice.
Select the country for which you want the map. You can also select more than one country by using the multiple selection option in the bottom bar. Remember that downloading map data can be very heavy for the entire continent and that your Internet bill can skyrocket if you have a limited plan. So choose the region carefully, according to your needs.
A specific region/state can be selected if available.
In our case, we selected 4 regions using the multi-select option and clicked the download button in the bottom bar. After clicking, the selected map data is downloaded individually. Please wait until all your maps have been fully downloaded.
