If you installed Office 2013 on Windows 8, you may have seen a grayed-out context menu SkyDrive Pro when you right-click a file or folder. If you are not using SharePoint, this context menu entry is of no use to you. If you wish, you can remove this SkyDrive Pro context menu entry by hacking into the Windows registry.
SkyDrive Pro is part of the SharePoint service in Office 365 and Server. SkyDrive Pro allows you to work easily with your documents in SharePoint. This simplifies operations such as recording, synchronization, sharing and collaboration.

To delete this SkyDrive Pro context menu entry, you can use the context menu editor or via the registry editor. To hack the registry, open Regedit and navigate to the following registry key :

Click on the shell and in the right pane you will see SPFS.ContextMenu. Right-click and select Delete to delete the button.
The SkyDrive Pro entry no longer appears in your context menu.
Microsoft has also released a patch to fix this problem
When you right-click a folder or file on a computer on which SkyDrive Pro is installed, the SkyDrive Pro context menu entry appears shaded and is not clickable. This entry must not be displayed.
If you start the SkyDrive Pro context menu, it will take about 10 seconds longer than expected until the context menu appears, so this update will also fix this problem – apart from a few other SkyDrive Pro problems and bugs.
