In my opinion, Mozilla Firefox Quantum is more powerful than other browsers and seems to be strong. Like all applications, however, it can slow down over time. To improve this, Firefox plans to implement a new feature – Tab Warming. The feature is designed to speed up tab switching for users and help them save a few extra seconds during their browsing sessions.

Details of the tab warm-up function in Firefox Nightly were revealed by Mozilla developer Mike Conley in a post on his personal blog. The exact definition is that it is a process of preventive rendering of the layers of a tab, and preventive uploading to the composer when the browser is virtually certain that you will probably switch to that tab.
In the past, the navigator has taken a slightly different approach. The mechanism worked pretty well, but the development team thought it could do a little better.
The tab heating is currently controlled by the settings. Open a new tab in Firefox, type about:config and press’Enter’.
When the About:Config page loads, look for the following entry –
browser.tabs.remote.warmup.warmup.enabled
This is currently disabled by default. You must double-click the option and toggle its status to True. This activates the’Tab heating’ function.
From now on, the browser will simply detect if you hover your mouse over a tab to predict that you are likely to choose, but there are certainly other ways to introduce a warm-up based on the behavior of other users.
Mozilla explains it as follows:
When you move your mouse pointer over the tab, making this SVG sophisticated while your finger is still clicking the mouse button to select the tab.
Firefox claims that it will save the time needed to load a web page, because the tab warm-up function starts loading the page in the background as soon as you move the cursor over that tab before clicking on it.
