To change the display time of the operating system list, open Computers in File Explorer. Click System Properties.

In the left pane, click Advanced System Settings. This opens the System Properties tab Advanced.

Then click the Settings button under Start and Restore.

Under Startup, you will see the option:

      • Operating system list display time.

Set the time to the desired number. You can reduce it to 5 seconds if you wish.

If you wish, you can also set the period during which the restore options are displayed. To do this, enable Time to display recovery options if necessary and change the default value from 30 seconds to the desired time period.

Click OK.

The next time you start your Windows 10/8 computer, you will see that the changes have taken effect.
