It is very easy to open the app. To open any app all you just need to do is type the first few initials of app name in search bar and you can enter into the app directly. Open taskbar search bar and type calculator and select the first result to open the below window. If you open the Windows 10 calculator frequently, then you may pin it to your start menu. New calculator app in Windows 10 can be resized easily to square, vertical, horizontal and whatever shapes you want.

However the features of the new calculator are similar to the old one and you can use it in different modes like Standard, Scientific, Programmer and Converter. A hamburger menu is present on the top left corner where you can see the different modes in the dropdown menu.

Standard Calculator

Standard calculator let you to carry the basic calculations like additions, subtractions, square roots, multiplications, divisions, percentages and fractions. You can also save your previous calculations and view them in history tab in the right panel of the app. Save them to the memory (M+) and displays the figures under memory tab.

Scientific calculator app is very useful for the students and they can perform typical mathematical calculation here. You can perform the trigonometric functions in degrees and radians.

Programmer

This mode is specially designed for programmers that work for decimal, binary, hexadecimal and octal calculations which allows QWORD, basic calculations and bitwise operations.

Converter

Converter mode in Windows 10 calculator app that let you converting the units that include Length, Volume, Weight, Mass, Temperature, Area, Energy, Speed, Time, Power, Data, Pressure and Angle. It allows you to convert the tablespoons in teaspoons under Volume category.
