WordPad is a word processing software with basic formatting options and is included in all versions of the Windows 95 or later operating system. He was always there, but he never really did much good. In this post today, we will see how to use Wordpad under Windows 10 and reset Wordpad settings if something goes wrong.
WordPad on Windows 10
To use Wordpad on Windows 10, type ‘wordpad‘ in the taskbar and click the result. This opens WordPad.
To open Wordpad, you can also use the Run write.exe command. Press WinKey+R, type write.exe or wordpad.exe and press Enter.

Use Wordpad to create, edit, save, open, view, and print text documents. WordPad, as well as other integrated tools such as Character Map, Windows Fax and Scan are now ported to the Windows Store as universal applications. You can now download the Wordpad application from the Windows store.

To reset Wordpad settings to default settings, close Wordpad and run regeditit to open the Registry Editor and navigate to the next key :

In the left part, you see Options. Delete this softkey.
If you open Wordpad now, you will see it with its default settings.
