Different types of Windows updates

There are four types of quality updates in Windows 10, including B, C, D, and unscheduled. Deployment “B” occurs every scheduled Patch Tuesday and includes the major patches required by devices in that month.

Restoring the previous version of Windows – Shutdown or looping

Click Start > Settings > In Windows Settings, click Update & Security. In the options column on the left side of Windows Update, click Recovery. Click “Start” to begin the restore/undo process.

Windows 10 hard disk management does not work

If some system files are missing or corrupted on your computer, Windows 10 Disk Management may also not work. In this case, you can run the System File Checker (SFC) to scan all protected system files and replace the incorrect versions with the correct Microsoft versions.

If Disk Management won’t load, you might have a file corruption issue. But it takes too long to open the app, please check if the hard drive is working properly. To resolve this issue, try running the Windows command line tool to check for possible errors.

Re-enable the missing drive in Disk Management.
Reconnect the external hard drive.
Format the drive.
Check the status of the hard drive.

HID compatible touch screen driver missing & is no longer available in the device manager

On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and type Troubleshoot, then click Troubleshoot. Find and click Hardware and Devices and click Run the troubleshooter. Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions to fix any issues found. Open Device Manager and see if the missing driver appears.

Visit the official catalog of the Microsoft Update website. Enter the details of the device on which you want to install the HID touch screen driver and click the “Search” button. Click the download button. The driver is downloaded as a cab file.

A HID-compliant touchscreen is not listed in Device Manager if the touchscreen has been manually disabled by the user, or if the system does not default display the touchscreen driver. The HID compliant touch screen is usually found under Human Interface Devices in Device Manager. read more

How to add safe mode to the Windows 10 startup menu options

Press Windows + R keyboard shortcut. After launching the Run application, type msconfig. Click OK or press Enter. In the settings, go to the Boot tab. Go to boot partition options. Check secure boot. Highlight the launch of the safe option you want to use.

Hold down the F8 key during startup until the Windows logo appears. The menu will appear. You can then release the F8 key. Use the arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode (or Safe Mode with Networking if you need to use the Internet to solve your problem), then press Enter.

Hold down the Shift key and click Restart.
Select “Troubleshoot” on the “Choose an option” screen.
Select Startup Options, then click Restart to enter the final Safe Mode selection menu.
