2 In the administrative prompt window (16), enter these commands one by one and press Enter after each command:

net stop wuauserv

rename to C:WindowsSoftwareDistributionDownload Download.old

netto start wuauserv

wuaucult. exe /updatenow

Once each command has been successfully executed, you can restart and try installing the updates.
