When installing Windows 8, one of the biggest challenges was getting my ATI display drivers to work. Of course, the generic display was installed, but none of the ATI CC functions worked, especially the images were not as sharp and sharp as under Windows 7. When I connect my LED TV via HDMI cable, the resolution was totally confused. I spent hours taking her to work.

One of the biggest challenges for laptop users is that generic drivers sometimes don’t really work. So we need to get the older driver to work and operate the SEA control centre.

So I deleted the generic drivers first.

I used the uninstall function to completely remove the drivers. But one of the features of Windows is that it scans the drivers and automatically reinstalls them. I had to erase it. I downloaded Driver Sweeper to delete the remaining files. Follow these instructions for Windows 7, which also works on Windows 8.

When you have deleted all remaining files, delete the temporary files and restart the system. Now download the appropriate Windows 7 compatible drivers (notebook users can download them from the manufacturer’s website). Once you have downloaded it, you will need to open the Windows 7 compatible installation file. To load the program in Windows 7 compatibility mode, right-click setup.exe and click Troubleshoot Compatibility. Follow the wizard and you will arrive at this screen.

Select Window 7 and click Next and select Start Program Now, run the program in Windows 7 compatibility mode and install it. You should have a fully functional ATI driver with ATI CC.

You can then download and install the ATI test drivers for Windows 8.

I hope this manual will help you.
