To open a high PowerShell prompt, type PowerShell into the search taskbar and right-click the displayed result’Run Windows Powershell’ and select Run as administrator.
After the November 15 update, using this method to resolve this problem with the Appx PowerShell cmdlet caused problems with your Windows Store applications. But if you installed Windows 10 Anniversary Update, it now works.
6] Create a new user and see if it helps. To do this, open a high prompt, type the following and press Enter:
net username /add
This is your new username. You receive the message The command has been successfully executed. Log in to your new account and see if your problem is solved.
You can do this to open a command prompt or Powershell window. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager. Click File > Run New Task. To open a command prompt window, type cmd. To open a PowerShell prompt, type powershell. Don’t forget to check the box Create this task with administrator rights . Then press Enter.
If the Cortana search or taskbar does not work, open Task Manager > File > Run New Task. Enter powerhell and select the Create this task with administration rights check box and click OK. See this message if your taskbar does not work under Windows 10.
