Windows Store is the easiest way to get new applications in Windows 8, as we all know. But sometimes you can get confused by the various errors you get by downloading or updating applications. Proceed as follows!

1 Press key Windows + R and enter or paste this location :

C:ProgramDataMicrosoftWindows

0x8024001e

2 Locate the folder AppRepository in the folder Windows. Some of the log files in this folder are the cause of the problem.

3 When you click on the folder AppRepository above, you will receive the following prompts :

Please use this path to copy the AppRepository folder so that you can avoid the prompts shown above and go directly to the folder.

4 After accepting the folder and entering it, you will see the files edb.log and edbXXXXXXXXXXX#.log. Where XXXXXXXXXXXXX can be 00001, 00002 and so on, depending on the computer to computer. You simply have delete these edb.log and edbXXXXXXXXX#.log to solve the problem.

After deleting the above files, restart your computer and see if it helps you. If this is not the case, you should consider the Update PC option.
