Windows 10 v1607 and later, you can now simply click to reset your Windows Store App if it does not work properly. Previously, when applications weren’t working properly, the solution was to re-register them with PowerShell, but with this new feature, you can easily reset applications. I will show you where the application reset setting is available.
Reset Windows Store applications
Open the Start menu and click the Settings icon. Then click on 0n System then on Apps & Features in the left area. You will then see the following window.
Then identify and click the application that is not working properly. The window expands and you see the options for Move and Uninstall. Here you can also see Advanced options. Click on it and the following window opens.
Click the Reset button Reset to reset the application. Clicking this button opens the following warning window, in which you are informed that the application data will be deleted and the settings reset.
Click Reset. Within seconds, you will see a check mark next to the reset button indicating that the process has been successfully completed.
Check if the Windows Store application is working correctly. It should be!
