The upgrade process for Windows 10 Creators Update v 1703 went well, but one thing struck me. There were no shutdown, restart, sleep, hibernation options in the Power Options menu. Anyway, the power options were gone! Click the icon that appears There are currently no power options available.
The WinX menu only offered option Logout.
If power options are missing in the Start menu after upgrading to Windows 10 Creators Update, you should check a few points to resolve the problem.
Power options are missing in Windows 10
Enter gpedit.msc in Start Search and press Enter to open the Group Policy Editor. Navigate to and double-click the following settings to open the configuration box:
User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar
Double-click Delete and prevent access to Stop, Restart, Sleep, and Hibernation commands.
This policy setting prevents users from executing the following commands from the Windows Start menu or the Windows Security Screen: Off, Restart, Sleep, and Sleep Mode. This policy setting does not prevent users from running Windows programs that execute these functions. Enabling this policy setting removes the Power Off, Restart, Hibernate, and Hibernate commands from the Start menu. The Power button is also removed from the Windows security screen that appears when you press CTRL+ALT+ALT+DEL. If you disable or do not configure this policy setting, the Start menu provides the Power Off, Restart, Hibernate, and Hibernate commands. The’Power’ button on the Windows security screen is also available.
Make sure that Not configured or Off is selected, click Apply and complete the operation.

Group Policy Editor is only available in Windows 10 Pro, Windows 10 Enterprise, and Windows 10 Education editions, not Windows 10 Home. If your Windows 10 does not come with GPEDIT, start regedit to open Registry Editor and navigate to the next registry key :
HKEY_CURRENT_USERoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesExplorer
Now check on the right side if a value named NoClose exists and if so, its value should be 0.
Restart your computer and check. Power options should appear.
If this does not help, there is another thing you can try
Open the registry editor and navigate to the next key :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlPower
Change the value of CsEnabled from 1 to 0.
Restart your computer and check.
You can also use our free Ultimate Windows Tweaker software to view the Windows 10 power options.
You will get the settings under Customization > Windows 10, disable/check the Power Options menu, click Apply settings and restart your computer.
To display the Hibernate option, make sure Hibernate is enabled by executing the following command in a high prompt window:
Powercfg /Hibernate on
Hopefully this will help!
