Insert alternative text with all images and tables
Alt text is a huge help for screen readers or browsers that have images disabled. By adding alternative text to an image, you can give meaning to someone who does not see it for some reason. With Microsoft Outlook, you can create alternative text (alt text or alt text) for shapes, images, graphics, tables or other objects in your Office document.
Add text to images
Right-click an image, select Format image and select’Layout and properties’ from the list of displayed options.
Then select Alt Text (text, SmartArt graphics and more)
Give an appropriate title to the layout and add a short description.
By doing a few small things, you can make hyperlinks, text and tables accessible.
Add a text hyperlink and ScreenTips
Highlight the text to which you want to add the hyperlink and right-click it.
Then select Hyperlink. The text you selected a few seconds ago appears immediately in the Text for Display field. This is the text of the hyperlink.
If necessary, you can modify the text of the hyperlink.
When you are finished, go to the Address field and enter the destination URL.
Then select the ScreenTi buttonp and enter a ScreenTip in the ScreenTip text field.
Use accessible font format
Select your text and select the Text Format tab.
Then select the appropriate option in the Font group, where you can configure various options (font, font size, style and color).
Use Accessible Font Color
To ensure that text is visible in High Contrast mode, use the Automatic setting for font colors. To do this, select your text, choose Message, then Font Color.
Select Automatic.
Use enumeration styles
You can create enumeration lists by placing the cursor anywhere in your email and selecting the’Text Format’ tab.
In the Paragraph group, select the Bullets button and enter each bullet in the bulleted list.
Adjust the spacing between sentences and paragraphs
Adjust the space between sentences and paragraphs by selecting your text and selecting the’Text Format’ tab again.
In the Paragraph group in the lower right corner of the group, select the Launcher dialog box.
When the Paragraph dialog box appears, the Indentation and Distance tab is displayed.
Under Distance, select the distance options you deem appropriate.
