Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is another fascinating first-person shooting game developed by Infinity Ward and released by Activision in 2016. The game is available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Although there are a few problems with all COD franchise games, we cannot deny that most PC users encounter errors or bugs. It is impossible to participate in a session, please note: the Bamberga bug report on Infinite Warfare COD is one of them. If you encounter the same problem, please read this manual.

As the name implies, this particular bug report will appear whenever players try to join a network (multiplayer) session. This problem may appear on Windows PCs or even on other console platforms. Since this problem affects many players, here are some common and working solutions that you should try.

Enable UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) in the router settings

Actions may vary depending on the router manufacturer.

Step 1: Open your browser and go to the router configuration page. The default address is usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.

Step 2: Go to the configuration page of the router. You should be able to login with an administrator by specifying a username and password if you have never changed your default credentials. If this doesn’t work, check the Internet for specific steps to access the default credentials of your router.

Step 3: On the WAN Internet Connection or Forwarding tab, on the Router Configuration tab, find the UPnP setting.

Step 4: Enable UPnP configuration.

Step 5: Save the changes and restart the router and the computer.

Open NAT

If a simple restart is not enough, it is very likely that COD Infinite Warfare will detect a Bamberga status error due to mismatch with network address translation. This is the basic metric that determines whether the game server will accept connection to your computer.

If your NAT is closed, you will NOT be able to connect to other players while playing Call of Duty Infinite Warfare.

If you encounter this error on your PC or Xbox One, the first thing to do is to check your NAT type on the platform of your choice. Of course, depending on which platform you play on, this procedure will be different.

  • Click Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog box. Then type “ms-settings: games-xboxnetworking” in the text box and press Enter to open the “Xbox Network” tab of the “Game Settings” application.
  • On the “Xbox Network” tab wait until the first scan is complete and then check the NAT type when you see the results. If the Nat type is displayed in the Closed field or Teredo does not meet the requirements, we can assume that the problem is with your NAT.
  • After making sure that the NAT type is closed or ambiguous, go to the FIX section where we will show you how to open the NAT in your router settings.

Define port forwarding

  • Run any web browser on your PC.
  • Authorize on the router’s home page or on the settings page.
  • Go to Advanced Wireless> Select Port Forwarding. (NAT redirection)
  • Now enable TCP and UDP ports for all three game platforms as follows.
  • PC (TDP): 3074, 27015-27030, 27036-27037
  • PC (UDP): 3074, 4380, 27000-27036
  • PS4 (TCP): 80, 443, 1935, 3074, 3478-3480
  • PS4 (UDP): 3074, 3478-3479
  • Xbox One (TCP): 53, 80, 3074
  • Xbox One (UDP): 53, 88, 500, 3074, 3076, 3544, 4500
  • Then reboot the router and your computer.
  • If you are using PS4 or Xbox One, restart the router and console.

Use a static IP address (console only).

If this problem occurs on your console, you may see a Bamberga status error because your console does not use the correct TCP / IP settings. This is only if your Internet connection is filtered by a router or modem.

If this scenario applies, you can solve the problem by forcing the console (Xbox One or Ps4) to use a static IP address with the correct additional settings.
