With over a billion active members, chances are high that many of your potential customers are already on Facebook. Internet-savvy entrepreneurs use Facebook to reach new customers by viewing product photos and videos. Uploading media to Facebook is relatively easy. However, download errors can sometimes occur.
Many users have had the same problems, but Facebook does nothing to fix them. While there is a good chance that Facebook servers are the cause of this error, it is also on your side (e.g. slow internet connection or corrupted video). As described in this article, there are several ways to fix this error.
Clear your browser cache
Like many other apps, your browser uses cache to improve performance and user experience. You may encounter this error if your browser cache is corrupted. In this context, clearing the cache can fix the problem. To clarify, let’s discuss the process for the Chrome browser.
- Start Chrome and log out of Facebook.
- Now click on the vertical ellipses in the upper right corner of the Chrome window. In the menu that appears, hover your mouse over More Tools and in the submenu, click Clear Browsing Data.
- Now select the time range for all hours and categories you want to remove (if possible, select all categories). Then click the Clear Data button.
- After that, restart Chrome and log into Facebook to check if the download issue is resolved.

You can now prevent PC problems by using this tool, such as protecting you against file loss and malware. Additionally, it is a great way to optimize your computer for maximum performance. The program fixes common errors that might occur on Windows systems with ease - no need for hours of troubleshooting when you have the perfect solution at your fingertips:

- Step 3 : Click “Repair All” to fix all issues.
Check your internet connection
If you have an unstable or intermittent internet connection, this may mean that you cannot transfer large amounts of data (such as photos), while small downloads (such as text) work fine. Use a connectivity test site like Speedtest.net to determine the reliability and quality of your web link. If possible, switch to a more stable connection, or try disconnecting and reconnecting.
Check the Image Formats
Facebook may have problems with images larger than 15MB or saved in formats other than JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF, and TIFF. You may need to reduce the size or convert your images to a different format before you can successfully upload them. If you’re having trouble loading images that have been processed in an imaging application, use the original images instead.
Reinstall Facebook app on iPhone / Android or use browser on PC.
Uninstall Facebook on your device and reinstall it. If there is an update for Facebook, please update it. If the error is caused by a bug in an older version of Facebook, updating may fix the problem. If you are currently using your phone, try booting from PC again.
