Run Adobe applications with administrator privileges

If your user account does not have administrator rights, Adobe error 16 may appear. Here’s a simple way to find out if running Adobe Application works with administrator privileges:

Step 1: Right-click on the icon if you want to run the Adobe application.

Step 2: Right-click on the Run as Administrator option in the context menu.

If the Adobe 16 error does not appear and you can run the program successfully, it was a permission issue. You can launch the Adobe application in the same way as described in the steps above. To give it a permanent solution, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Right-click on the Adobe Applications icon and right-click on Properties in the menu.

Step 2: In the Properties window, go to the Compatibility tab. Check the box “Run this program as administrator”.
