You’ll also learn how to organize your inbox, add multiple email accounts, and change your account settings.

Change your Localization Settings in Windows 8 Mail App

Some users were able to solve their problems with the Windows Mail application by changing their location settings. Learn how to change the location settings:

  • Open the control panel > Select a region.
  • Go to the Location tab > set your country’s location.
  • Go to the Management tab > Change System Location.
  • Select your country from the current system location menu > click OK > Apply.

Synchronize your Licenses

  • On the Windows 8 startup screen, click the left mouse button or the “Store” icon.
  • Move the mouse pointer to the lower right side of the screen.
  • Click the left mouse button in the menu that appears or press the Settings function.
  • Click the left mouse button or press the App Updates function.
  • Click the left mouse button or press the Synchronize Licenses function.
  • Now close the windows and right-click or left-click and hold the Mail application on the Home screen or press the Mail application on the Home screen.
  • Click the left mouse button or press the Uninstall function on the submenu.
  • Click the left mouse button or press the Uninstall button again.
  • When you finish uninstalling the application, click the left mouse button or touch the storage icon that appears on the Home screen.
  • In the store window, left-click or press the Accounts option.
  • Now navigate and click the left mouse button or the My Applications option.
  • Right-click or press and hold down the email application and select it for installation.
  • Restart the operating system after installing the mail application.
  • Recheck that the application is working.

When setting up applications that depend on so many different parameters, many small pitfalls must be avoided. By automatically completing server details, synchronizing data in the cloud, connecting with additional security features, and in the meantime, collaborating competitors change their settings and stop supporting the features. The only thing that remains reliable is a Google search combined with the Trial & Error system as a troubleshooting tool. And maybe it’s better to try another email application for Windows 8.
