Steps to follow to make a clean start and check that the problem is present.
i. Click on Start, type msconfig in the Start search box, then press ENTER.
ii. If you are prompted to enter an administrator password or confirmation, enter the password or click Next.
iii. In the General tab, click on Selective Start.
iv. Under Selective Start, clear the Load Startup Items check box.
v. Click the Services tab, select the Hide all Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all.
vi. Click on OK.
vii. When prompted, click Restart.
viii. After starting the computer, install the printer.

Delete the printer keys
Save your registry settings.
Once the register is registered, stop the print spooler service from the service console.
Now go back to the Registry Editor and delete the following keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86\Drivers\Version-3
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows x64\Drivers\Version-3
Now hold down the Windows key and press R, enter the following path in the Run dialog box:
C:\Windows\System32\spool\driver\w32x86\3
Here, rename the three to three old ones.
Restart the “Print Spooler” from the service console and reinstall your printers.
Once this is done, reboot your PC and try to reinstall it.
Check Windows Installer service
1. press Windows + R, then type services.msc and press Enter.
2. Locate the Windows Install service in the list and double-click it.
3. Make sure that the start type is set to Automatic and click Start if the service is not already launched.
4. click Apply, then click OK.
5. Try to reinstall the printer.
Disconnect unnecessary devices

i. sound card
ii. video card
iii. network card
iv. modems
v. Ports (serial and parallel)
