Some solutions work for some and others for others, and sometimes no troubleshooting level helps. However, here is a list of possible solutions that could help you:

1] Update wireless drivers

Our first approach should be to update the drivers.

1] Press Win + R to open the Run window. Enter the command devmgmt.msc and press Enter. This would open the device manager and display the drivers in alphabetical order.

2] Right-click and update the network drivers. You can also reinstall and reboot the system.

3] If the above steps do not work, try downloading and installing the drivers from the manufacturer’s website.

2] Modem router computer performance cycle

Sometimes the system automatically configures an IP address leading to a condition called APIPA. To solve this problem, you would have to turn on the router modem computer, which is explained as follows:

1] Turn off the modem, router and computer.

2] Wait one minute, then turn on the modem and wait for all the lights to come on. Then turn on the router and wait for all the lights to come on. Then turn on the system.

Verify that you are connected to the Internet. If this is not the case, proceed to the next solution.

3] Hardware and Device Troubleshooting

1] Click the Start button, then click the Gear icon to open the Settings menu.

2] Select Updates and Security, then select the Troubleshooting tab from the list on the left.

3] Scroll down to Hardware and Devices and click to launch the Hardware Troubleshooter.

4] Perform network troubleshooting

To open Internet connection troubleshooting :

msdt.exe -id NetworkDiagnoseWeb

To open incoming connection troubleshooter

msdt.exe -id NetworkDiagnosticsInbound

To open network adapter troubleshooter :

msdt. exe -id Network Diagnostics Network Adapter

5] Change wireless security

Ideally, it is always advisable to switch security to a higher protocol, but sometimes it does not allow the network.

We were able to change the security from WPA to WEP, which allows a 10-digit digital password. However, this could solve the problem of network connectivity. The settings must be changed on the router settings page.

6] Network Reset

If nothing else worked, a network reset would probably help.

1] Click the Start button, then click the speed icon to open the Settings page .

2] Select Network and Internet, then scroll to Network Reset. Click on it and start the reset.

This document provides additional suggestions for solving network and Internet connection problems. I hope something will help you.
