We all know that OneNote is a practical application for taking notes when you are on the move. In Windows 8.1 or later, the application is preinstalled with the operating system. However, if you did not receive the application pre-installed or uninstalled accidentally, you can get it from Windows Store. We have already shared patches for some common error codes such as 0×80070005, 0×80240437, 0x8024001e, 0x8024600e, 0x8024600e, 0x80073cf9, 0x80244018 during the installation of Windows Store applications. When installing OneNote, we recently found the following error code, which is slightly different:
This application has not been installed. Something happened and this application could not be installed. Please try again. Error code: 0x80246007(2)80070005
If you are too confronted with this error, we recommend you first try Windows Apps Troubleshooter and see if it solves the problem. In some scenarios, it may be useful to create a new administrator account to resolve such problems. If these two methods did not work for you, try this special solution for OneNote to get rid of this problem:
