Microsoft and third-party vendors have delivered audio enhancement packages designed to make your system’s specific hardware absolutely perfect. Under Windows 10, they are called Audio Enhancements. In the taskbar, type’Sound’ and select Sound Sound Control Panel from the results list.

The Sound Properties field opens. On the Playback tab (16), right-click the default device – Speakers/headphones and select Properties.

Select tab Improvements and check box Disable all improvements.

Try playing your audio device now. Does it work? Well, if it’s so great!

If the method fails, select Cancel to return to the Sound Properties field. In the Playback tab, select another default device (if applicable), select the check box Clear all extensions and try playing the audio again.

Do this for each standard device.
