Disable the Metro user interface and get the classic Windows 7 startup menu in Windows 8

Although people love Windows 8, it sometimes takes a while to become familiar with Windows 7 and its classic boot menu. They love Windows 8 and miss Windows 7 and the interface they were used to.       1. Type Win + R to display the’Run’ dialog box and type REGEDIT into the’Run’ dialog box to open the register.
      2. Navigate to path HKEY_CURRENT_USERoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorer in the registry.
      3. Double-click EPR enabled.
      4. Change the RPEnabled value from 1 to 0 in the Value data field and click ok.
      5. Log out and come back to see the changes.

Now Metro UI will be disabled and the good old classic UI will be back. To recover the Metro UI, simply change the RPEnabled value from 0 to 1 in step 4.

It is assumed that Microsoft will provide the Start menu in later versions, but it will be removed in the developer preview to familiarize developers with this new user interface.
