To turn off images in Google Chrome, you must access your browser’s advanced settings. Click on the three lines in the upper right corner of your browser and select Settings. Scroll down and click Advanced Settings. Go to Privacy-> Content Settings and check the’Do not show images’ box. Click Done and you are done. You won’t see the images when you browse the web on Google Chrome. Now, if you are using Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer, check the settings below.

If you are using Firefox as your default web browser, you will need to adjust the settings via about:config. Open Firefox and type ‘about : config’ in the address bar. Search.permissions.image.default.image’ and set the value to 0-1. The default value is 1.

Disable images while browsing Internet Explorer
