The right team is developing a patch and as soon as we have all the details, we will publish that information. For your machines concerned, it is no longer necessary to try the installation. He’ll keep failing.

He added:

Step 1: Go to Start Task Scheduler type and press Enter.

Step 2 : Under Task Scheduler > Expand Task Scheduler Library, then expand Microsoft to click the XbIGameSave folder.

Step 3: Navigate to the right, right click XblGameSaveTask and select Disable. Also disable XblGameSaveTaskLogon. Close the task scheduler.

Step 4 : Go to Start type Execute to open execution order. Enter the following and press Enter :


Delete both files : XblGameSaveTask and XblGameSaveTaskLogon

Step 5: Go to Startup Type Run to open the Run command.

Type regedit and click OK to open the registry. You may need to run as administrator to open the registry.

Step 6 : In the Registry Editor, navigate to the next path :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft Windows NT CurrentVersion Schedule TaskCache Tree Microsoft XblGameSave

Step 7: Right-click and delete subkeys : XblGameSaveTask and XblGameSaveTaskLogin as shown below.

Step 8: Close the register. Open Settings > Update and Security. Click Check for updates and reinstall the update.
