You can have different types of user profiles in a single Windows operating system installation because multiple profiles are possible. In Windows 8, you can have mandatory, voluntary, temporary or system user profiles that are collectively called Special Profiles. If you are logged in with a temporary profile, you are only logged in with a special profile. It should be mentioned here that local user accounts are not contained in special profiles.

4 Finally, select Enabled in the window above. Click Apply followed by OK. You can now close the local Group Policy Editor and restart it to start deployment with special profiles.
After that, reboot your system. Your Windows 8 system now allows the use of special profiles under Windows 8.
