If Windows 10 is locked in Airplane mode, here is what you should try if you have problems. Before you begin, make sure your device is set to the On position using a physical Wi-Fi power button or switch.

1] Press key Fn+Funkturm. On my Dell, it’s between the F12 and the PrtScr key.

(2) Maybe something is disturbing its function. Restart Windows 10. Do not connect. You will see a Wi-Fi icon at the bottom right of your screen on the login screen. Click on it and see if you can turn aircraft mode on or off.

3] Disconnect everything, including cables, power cord, USB, etc., from the power supply. Remove the battery. Turn the unit off. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Reinstall the battery, turn it on and see that it has helped.

4] Open the Device Manager. Under Network Adapters, check if a WAN miniport has a yellow mark. If so, uninstall and reinstall.

5] Type regedit in the taskbar. Right-click the result and choose Run as administrator. Navigate to the next button:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemCurrentControlSetControlControlClass

Right-click Class and press Search. Search RadioEnable. Make sure its value is 1. If this is not the case, change the value to 1, if RadioEnable does not exist, create it.

Restart Windows 10.
