Although this is a good security measure, some of you may not want to be asked for a password when your computer exits sleep mode. Let’s see how to make Windows ask you for the password every time you wake up by configuring the options. Follow these simple steps.

1 Click the battery icon in the taskbar notification area. Select Other performance options. In the Power Options window (16), click Require a wake-up password .

2 Click Change currently available settings.

3 For details, see section Password Protection Alarm Clock. Select option No password required.

Click Save Changes and you are done. This disables the connection after falling asleep on Windows 7 and Windows 8. As soon as your system wakes up again, you will no longer be asked to enter access data, but it starts where you left it.
