Resetting the PC
Before proceeding with any of the following options, make sure you have an up-to-date backup of your files. When you perform a factory reset, all your installed programs and files are deleted, so you don’t want to leave anything behind.
You have two choices: Keep my files or take them all away. The first option resets your default options and removes all installed applications (such as browsers, Microsoft Office and games), but keeps your data. As its name suggests, Remove everything resets everything to the default values and deletes your files.
Although the Keep My Files option backs up your data, you should still make a backup before using it if something goes wrong.
