Windows 10 to come with brand new Web Browser “Spartan”
If the reports and rumors are to be believed, then Microsoft has all plans to ditch Internet Explorer as the default web browser in the coming launch of Windows 10. According to sources, Microsoft is building a brand new web browser which was initially rumored to be Internet Explorer 12, but now, it is rumored that it will have all new name which will be revealed on the 21st of January, 2015 when Microsoft is all set to showcase the new version on Windows.
Thomas Nigro, a Microsoft Student partner and the developer for the latest version of VLC player claimed that Microsoft is working on a brand new browser for Windows 10.
The new browser is rumored to be much lighter and faster as compared to the latest Internet Explorer 11 which is available for now. Along with the light weight, the browser will have a look pretty similar to Google chrome.
According to another rumors, Windows 10 will come with Internet Explorer as well as Spartan browser which will ensure the compatibility with all kinds of websites. However, for now, we will need to wait until any official announcement takes place. Microsoft is holding an event on January 21st, where Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Windows execs Terry Myerson and Joe Belfiore, and Xbox chief Phil Spencer will be speaking about the Windows 10 consumer experience.
