Microsoft Sway allows users to integrate web content and documents via an integration map within it. This feature allows you to create interactive presentations, reports, stories, etc. in the content presentation application. We have already seen how to search and add content in Microsoft Sway. Microsoft has been working hard to improve its content creation tool in Microsoft Sway. The web application now allows users to embed web content, such as videos, audio clips, maps, etc., into Microsoft Sway.
With the updated version of the application, you can insert the embedded HTML code of interactive online media – think of YouTube, Vine, Flickr and Giphy content, OneDrive documents and Google maps – and add it to your Sway.
In addition, Sway can now import content from PDF, Word and PowerPoint documents (including older .doc and .ppt file formats). You can do this by uploading files or adding them from your OneDrive storage to the application, and Sway will insert text and images directly into your creation.

Embedding Content into Microsoft Sway
Any visual or written content added to Sway’s story will appear in the cards. These cards cover all the elements that appear in your story, such as Embed Cards. To embed content into Microsoft Sway :
- Copy the embedding code for the content.
- Add media.
- Select Embed.
- Paste the embed code into the new embed card.
- To embed a sway in a sway, open the sway that you want to embed.
- Click the “Share” icon.
- Copy the code that appears in the dialog box.
- Click the Paste Content button.
- Select Media, then Embed.
- Paste your embed code.
- Use Embed Map in Sway to add a variety of content, including images, video files, audio clips, and maps.
