Microsoft announced Windows 10 launch date on July 27

Today, Microsoft has officially confirmed that its upcoming Operating System Windows 10 will be released to the public on July 2009.Earlier some rumors were also pointing the same day as the Windows 10 launch date. Currently Windows 10 is available as Technical preview released for testing. On July 29 all the Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 users, those who have reserved their free upgrade can install Windows 10 Operating System on their PCs for free.


Regarding, this Microsoft has said that,

On July 29, you can get Windows 10 on your PCs and tablets by taking the advantage of the free upgrade offer, or on a new Windows 10 PC from your favorite retailer. If you purchase a new Windows 8.1 device between now and then, the Windows 10 will be available to you and many retail stores will upgrade your new device for you.

This is definitely an awesome news for those all waiting for the Windows 10 Operating System. Microsoft also started the advertising campaign for Windows 10 by sending the Windows 10 update notifications to the Windows 7 and Windows 8 users to reserve their upgrade through the notification popup on the taskbar.

Microsoft also mentioned on its blog that,

Though the feedback and testing of more than four million Windows Insiders, we’ve made a great progress on Windows 10 and we’re nearly ready to deliver this free upgrade to all our Windows Customers.

Windows 10 is designed to be compatible with your current Windows device and applications. Microsoft is working hard to make this upgrading process a great experience to the users. As Microsoft is releasing the Windows 10 on July 29th which means that this will be available to the consumers before back to school season, which might boost its sales.
