How to sync files between Windows and Android Phone

If you are using Android smart phone then definitely you would think of syncing the files between your Android device and Windows PC.   • First download and install GoodSync on your Windows PC, which is the trial version for 30 days and after that it costs $29.95.
  • After downloading install it on your PC. When it prompted select the radio button Yes connect my computer using GoodSync Connect.
  • Now create a new GoodSync connect account and this can be used as the identification for all the devices that are running GoodSync connect.


  • In the next step you will be asked to enter the windows password and this let GoodSync to read and write the files on to your machine.

That’s it GoodSync setup is completed and finally click on Apply to apply all the settings and start the server.

How to use

  • Go to start menu on your Windows PC and open GoodSync and it will prompt you to create a new sync job.
  • Here enter the job name and it will ask to choose whether you want two-way synchronization or simple backup. Select synchronization.


  • It will open the file browser and here you can see two input fields with Browse button and those buttons were to choose L and R folder to synchronize.


  • If you click on left browse button, it will popup a window and here select from different locations including cloud services. Here select Documents folder under My Computer.
  • Now click on right browse button and select GoodSync Connect and search for connected Android account. Now select the folder on your Android where you would like to sync the files.
  • After selecting the L and R folders click on Analyze button and finally click on sync to start synchronizing.

That’s it, now the files from your Android device and Windows PC can be synchronized using GoodSync very easily.
