How to disable The add-on is ready for use popup in Internet Explorer

When you install any new add-ons in the Internet Explorer or any new software in your Windows PC, then it may add the toolbar or Explorer automatically in the Internet Explorer web browser, you will get a popup notification message in the Internet Explorer that The add-on is ready for use, popup message along with two buttons Enable and Don’t Enable.   • Using Group Policy Editor
  • Using Registry Editor

How to disable The add-on is ready for use popup in Internet Explorer

1. Using Group Policy Editor

  • Press Win+R keys to open RUN dialog box and type gpedit.msc and press Enter.
  • This action will open Group Policy Editor and here navigate to,
    Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Internet Explorer
  • Here in the right side pane, find Automatically activate/enable newly installed add-ons option and double click on it and set it to Enabled.

That’s it, this will disable the popup notification message permanently in the Internet Explorer.

2. Using Registry Editor

  • Press Win+R keys to open RUN dialog box and type regedit and press enter to open Registry Editor.
  • Here navigate to the below key,
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPolicies
  • Under the Policies key, create a new key and name it as Ext.
  • Select the Ext key in the left side pane and in the right side pane create a new DWORD with the name IgnoreFrameApprovalCheck and set its value to 1.
  • If your is 64-bit Windows, then navigate to the following key and follow the third and fourth steps.
