Alaska Airlines travelers to get Windows 8.1 tablets for long flights
Passengers who travel often with Alaska airlines or the passengers who are planning to travel with Alaska airlines in near future do have something to get excited about. The popular airlines company has decided to provide Windows 8.1 powered tablets to the passengers on the long flights.
The new decision is coming to action from the starting of February 2015. The passengers in the first class and the passengers in the MVP 75K gold category will be eligible to get this amazing offer, for the passengers in other categories, the tablets can be rented with a fee of $8-$12.
The tablets will come pre-loaded with a lot of premium movies, music, TV shows and games. The passengers can even access the internet if the particular plane is WiFi enabled. However, for the passengers who prefer to use their own smart-device on the flight, can watch the premium movies or tv shows by paying a niminal fee which starts from $1.99
It is not clear yet on how many tablets has the airlines company purchased, but for sure, this is going to be a good move for the travelers.
